Course Overview!

The Undergraduate Certificate in General Management is designed to prepare students from various academic backgrounds for general management positions. It's particularly beneficial for non-management Business Administration majors and those seeking career advancement. The program provides fundamental management knowledge and skills applicable to a variety of roles and industries. It equips students with practical competencies in areas such as operations management, organizational behavior, and strategic decision-making. The certificate is jointly offered by the College of Professional and Global Education and the Department of Management, allowing access for both matriculated and non-matriculated students via Open University enrollment.

Course Structure

The program requires a total of 18 units. Nine units are dedicated to required courses, focusing on core management principles. These foundational courses cover Operations Management, Management and Organizational Behavior, and Organization Theory and Design. The remaining nine units consist of elective courses, providing students with flexibility to explore areas of specific interest within the management field.
