Scholarship Overview!
Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Austria offers scholarships for Master’s Studies in International Relations. These fully-funded scholarships are only offered at the Diplomatic Academy (DA) and the Central European University (CEU), where funding is provided by the government through OeAD. Each university can accept up to 3 students for the scholarship. This scholarship offers many benefits including Monthly Scholarship Installments of 1,050 EUR, Health Insurance between 55 to 200 EUR (with assistance in getting it), option to book Accommodation with housing office between 300 to 800 EUR (requires administrative fee of 21 EUR/month), and travel allowance (not for EU, EFTA, or OECD member countries). The deadline for this scholarship is May, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria!
To be eligible for the Austrian Government Program Scholarship, applicants must meet specific academic, age, and residency requirements.
Age Limit
Applicant must be or under 35 years ( born on or after May 1st, 1990).
Previous Degree (Not From Austia)
Graduation of the studies (previous degree) that led to the acceptance to the Master/Diploma Programme was not done in Austria.
Studies/Research in Austria Before Application Not Allowed
Applicants must not have studied/pursued research/pursued academic work in Austria in the last six month before taking up the grant.
Applying to Select Institutes
Applicant can only apply for Master's at the Diplomatic Academy (DA) or the Central European University (CEU) in International Relations.
Descendants of Forced Labourers
The descendants of forced labourers under the Nazi regime (regardless of their country of origin) or applicants who come from countries that have exceptionally suffered from the Nazi regime, especially from the recruitment of forced labourers are encouraged to apply.
