Scholarship Overview!
Undergraduate International Excellence Scholarships are offered by the University of Cardiff for international undergraduate students. These are partially-funded scholarships that deduct 50% tuition fee from the total amount. Applicants can get funding for three years. They can either choose any three-year program, or pick four or five years programs and pay the full tuition fee themselves. The scholarship is provided to students who can demonstrate their academic potential and clear future goals. The deadline for the Undergraduate International Excellence Scholarship is in April, 2026. Eligibility Criteria!
To be eligible for the Undergraduate International Excellence Scholarship, applicants must meet specific academic, age, and residency requirements.
International Self-Finance Student
Applicant must be classed as an international self-financed student for fee-paying purposes. They cannot hold funding from any other non-repayable alternative source.
Offer from an Eligible Degree
Applicant must be holding an offer for an eligible undergraduate degree starting in September.
Minimum Grade Requirement
Applicant must achieve a minimum of AAB at A-level or equivalent qualification to be considered for the scholarship.
English Language Proficiency Requirement
Result of any English language proficiency test that is accepted by the university. It can be IELTS (Academic) 6.5 band at least or another equivalent test.
