International Baccalaureate Merit Scholarship is a partially-funded scholarship for Undergraduate level students. It is sponsored by the University of Sheffield, UK. Only students who are currently studying or have studied an IB diploma are eligible to apply for the scholarship. This scholarship has many benefits including, £10,000 tuition fee waiver for each year of study which means that it can provide support for up to 4 years for Bachelor’s program. It is a prestigious and competitive award that also provides networking and career development opportunities. It is open for a wide range of programs, only excluding School of Dentistry and Medicine courses. The scholarship is only available for new international students who meet the eligibility criteria. The deadline for International Baccalaureate Merit Scholarship for Undergraduate is in May, 2026.

To be eligible for the International Baccalaureate Merit Scholarship, applicants must meet specific academic, age, and residency requirements.
IB Diploma Holder
You must be studying for or currently hold the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
Enrollment into Autumn, 2026
Applicant must receive an offer for a full-time or part-time undergraduate course at the University of Sheffield. MArch courses are considered Postgraduate and shouldn’t be applied with Undergraduate status.
