Cleveland State University's Master of Education in Educational Leadership program focuses on developing visionary leaders for urban and suburban schools. Students learn leadership constructs, organizational finance and facilities management, education law, professional development, and educational research through coursework and field practicums. The program consists of coursework in leadership constructs, organizational finance and facilities management, education law, professional development, and educational research. Students complete a practicum (ADM 681 and/or ADM 682) and a culminating activity, which can be a comprehensive exam, project, or thesis. Required courses include EDB 601 (Research in Education and Human Services), ADM 613 (School Law), ADM 614 (Administration Principles and Practices), ADM 615 (Instructional Leadership & Pupil Personnel Administration), ADM 642 (Human Resources and Community Engagement), ADM 643 (School Financial and Facilities Management), and ADM 676 (Clinical Supervision and Professional Development).
