Course Overview!

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business at Cleveland State University provides students with a comprehensive understanding of global business operations. The program focuses on developing essential skills in accounting, finance, supply chain management, marketing, and general management within an international context. Students learn to navigate the complexities of multinational corporations, helping national firms expand into international markets. Course Structure

The International Business BBA program requires a minimum of 120 credit hours, including core business courses and 33 credit hours of specialized international business coursework. The international business core includes courses such as Fundamentals of International Business (MKT 321), a consulting course (INB 495), and an international business experience (INB 490, INB 491, or MKT 440). Students also select eight additional courses from a list of electives covering topics such as international economic relations, international finance, multicultural marketing, international management, and global marketing strategy. A language component of two modern language courses is required, though it is possible to receive waivers based on prior fluency or native language proficiency. For honors students, there are additional requirements that include specific graduate courses and projects.
