Course Overview!

Course Structure

The Undergraduate Certificate in Behavioral Studies consists of five core courses, typically completed over three semesters (Fall, Spring, Summer). The first semester includes SPCE 280 Behavior Analysis: Principles, Procedures, and Philosophy (3 credits). The second semester includes SPCE 307 Ethical and Professional Practice in Behavior Analysis (3 credits) and SPCE 310 Application and Consultation in Applied Behavior Analysis (3 credits). The third semester consists of SPCE 315 Advanced Behavior Analysis (3 credits) and SPCE 316 Single Subject Research Design and Applications (3 credits). The coursework covers the theoretical foundations and practical applications of ABA, ethical considerations, research methodology, and hands-on experience with behavioral interventions.
