Course Overview!

Ball State University's Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is a four-year program designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the field of supply chain management. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning, incorporating practical logistics functions, supply chain decision-making, modern production techniques, and customer relationship management. Course Structure

The program begins with foundational courses across the Miller College of Business, covering management, marketing, accounting, finance and insurance, and information systems and operations management. This is followed by five required logistics and supply chain management courses, including a capstone project, plus one elective course within the same discipline. The program is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of logistics, from planning and procurement to quality control and distribution, reflecting real-world industry practices. Students have access to resources such as the Kent C. "Oz" Nelson Logistics and Supply Chain Management Center for Excellence, which facilitates industry collaborations and provides hands-on experience.
