Course Overview!

The Master of Science in Digital Transformation program equips graduates with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to advance their careers in this rapidly evolving field. It focuses on developing a comprehensive understanding of digitally connected systems, their applications across various industries, and the leadership qualities needed to implement successful digital transformation initiatives. Students learn to leverage digital technologies to automate tasks, streamline processes, enhance efficiency, improve customer experiences, and prepare organizations for AI adoption. This program blends theoretical knowledge with practical application, emphasizing design thinking principles and change management strategies to meet customer expectations and business goals. The curriculum is designed for both computing and non-computing backgrounds, with additional modules available for students without a computing background to help them bridge the gap.

Course Structure

The program comprises 10 coursework modules and a final project. Seven core modules are compulsory, covering areas such as business intelligence systems, disruptive innovation strategies, leading digital business transformation, digital project management, IR 4.0 enabling technologies, and research methodology. Students then select three elective modules from options including building IoT applications, financial technology, cybersecurity threats, and big data analytics. Non-computing students may need to complete prerequisite modules in Python programming, practical IoT, and fundamentals of artificial intelligence.
