The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence program at APU equips students with advanced skills and techniques in AI, aligning with Industry Revolution 4.0. It provides opportunities to solve industrial problems using AI and prepares students for doctoral studies. The curriculum exposes students to various AI fields, including Machine Learning, Robotics, and Natural Language Processing, culminating in a capstone project. Graduates will be skilled in implementing AI solutions, managing large-scale AI projects, and designing reliable AI systems. They will understand how AI infrastructure enhances business competitiveness and can apply AI to overcome human limitations.
The program comprises 10 coursework modules and a project. Seven core modules are compulsory, including research methodology. Three elective modules are chosen from subjects like Applied Robotics, Pattern Recognition, Expert Systems, Business Intelligence Systems, Multivariate Methods, and Deep Learning. Prerequisite modules (Programming in Python, Introduction to R Programming, Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence) are mandatory for non-computing background students. The project involves conducting AI-related research for academic or industry purposes, resulting in a paper, report, or publication.
