Course Overview!

The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (ODL) program at APU is designed to equip students with advanced skills and knowledge in AI, preparing them for careers in the field. The program focuses on the latest technologies relevant to Industry Revolution 4.0, providing students with practical experience implementing AI to solve real-world problems. It covers a broad range of AI topics, including machine learning, robotics, and natural language processing. Students will develop capabilities in managing large-scale AI projects, building high-quality AI systems, and understanding the strategic role of AI in business competitiveness. The curriculum includes both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, allowing students to apply their learning to practical projects and research.

Course Structure

The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (ODL) program consists of 10 coursework modules and a final project. Seven core modules are compulsory, covering foundational areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Fuzzy Logic, Applied Machine Learning, Computational Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and Research Methodology. Students select three elective modules from options including Applied Robotics, Pattern Recognition, Expert Systems, Business Intelligence Systems, Multivariate Methods, and Deep Learning. The final project allows students to conduct in-depth research in AI, contributing to both academic and industry advancement, potentially resulting in an academic paper or consultancy report.
