The Master of Finance with a specialism in FinTech program at APU is designed to equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to succeed in the FinTech industry. It covers in-depth financial concepts, global financial markets, and the application of modern financial technologies to real-world situations. The curriculum emphasizes the development of analytical, problem-solving, and digital skills necessary to champion financial solutions in the 21st century. The program prepares graduates for thriving in both traditional financial institutions and emerging FinTech companies.
The program consists of 10 coursework modules and a final project. Non-computing students may need to complete a one-month (full-time) or two-month (part-time) pre-requisite module on Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence. Core modules include topics such as cybercrime and investigation, corporate finance, financial statement analysis, financial markets and institutions, financial technology, big data analytics and technologies, artificial intelligence, international finance, research methodology, and investment and portfolio management. The final project involves in-depth research on a FinTech topic, incorporating literature review, research methodology, data collection, and analysis, culminating in a comprehensive academic report.
