(2012) Origins and Establishment

Hebei University of Engineering (HUE) was founded in 1978 in Handan, Hebei Province, China. Founded as Handan Engineering Vocational School, the university's initial goal was the development of the region's growing industries through the training of technical manpower. Through the years, the university went through developments that led to its reception of university status in 2000, and renamed itself Hebei University of Engineering. The expansion of this university is directly associated with the development of the economy of the regions that are particularly interested in engineering and technology. At present, the university provides strong undergraduate and graduate study programs.

Modern Day Development

Lately, Hebei University of Engineering (HUE) has achieved considerable advancements in its development.
